Armenia national team head coach Yeghishe Melikyan has announced a 28-man squad for the final two matches of the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League group stage. Armenia will face Cyprus and Latvia on November 12 and 15, respectively.

The squad includes four goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and eight forwards. However, the coaching staff will be without several important players, including Eduard Spertsyan and Sergey Muradyan. Which players will miss Armenia's November matches?

Five players have been ruled out of the upcoming international camp due to injuries:

  • Henri Avagyan (Pyunik)

  • Sergey Muradyan (Noah)

  • Julio Bueno (Ararat-Armenia)

  • Eduard Spertsyan (Al-Ahli)

In addition, Erik Simonyan (Pyunik), Kamo Hovhannisyan (Ararat-Armenia) and Vahan Bichakhchyan (Legia Warsaw) have recently recovered from injuries but are not yet fully match-fit. As a result, they have also been left out of the squad.

The absence of Eduard Spertsyan will be a particularly significant setback for Armenia. The midfielder suffered an Achilles tendon injury during an AFC Champions League match against Al-Sadd. According to preliminary reports, his recovery could take up to four weeks.

When will Armenia face Cyprus and Latvia?

Armenia will conclude their UEFA Nations League Group C2 campaign with two matches in November.

On November 12, Yeghishe Melikyan's side will host Cyprus in Yerevan. Three days later, on November 15, Armenia will play their final group-stage match against Latvia.

These fixtures will be Armenia's final competitive international matches of 2026.
