English club Sunderland have congratulated their striker Finn Geragusian on receiving his first call-up to the Armenia national team. The club shared the message on social media, highlighting the young forward’s achievement.
“Congratulations to Finn Geragusian on his first-ever call-up to the senior Armenia national team. Fully deserved, Finn!” the club said in a statement.

The 18-year-old striker has been invited to join Armenia’s national team for the March training camp. The team will play two friendly matches: on March 26 against the UAE and on March 29 against Belarus.
Geragusian became the only debutant on the list of foreign-based players published by Armenia head coach Yeghishe Melikyan. The list includes ten players who play abroad. The rest of the squad will be formed from players competing in the Armenian Premier League and will be announced later.
Finn Geragusian was born in Durham, England, not far from Sunderland, and is a product of the club’s academy. He joined Sunderland’s system at the age of 12 and has been part of the academy ever since.
During the 2025/26 season, the forward has been playing for the club’s youth teams — U18 and U21. This season he has made 23 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing 2 assists.
