Geragusian scores in Premier League Cup after first call-up to Armenia national team (VIDEO)

Sunderland U21 reached the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup after defeating Watford U21 3–1 in a match played on March 6.

The scoring was opened in the 52nd minute by Armenia youth international forward Finn Geragusian. The goal became the 13th of the season for the 18-year-old striker, while Sunderland U21 secured their sixth consecutive victory. The Armenian forward was substituted in the middle of the second half.

It should be noted that on the day of the match it became known that Geragusian had received his first call-up to the Armenia national team. The 18-year-old striker was invited to the March friendly matches, where Armenia will face the UAE (March 26) and Belarus (March 29).
