Armenia U19 women's national team draws friendly match against Georgia

The match took place on August 14 in Rustavi and ended in a 3–3 draw. In the 5th minute, the hosts took the lead through Anano Tsikharidze, but towards the end of the first half, Ruzanna Khachatryan equalized. Early in the second half, Naira Aghvanyan put Armenia ahead, but the Georgians quickly responded thanks to Anastasia Buchukuri. In the 76th minute, Lizi Kakulia restored the hosts’ lead, but Mariam Stepanyan’s side showed character — five minutes before the final whistle, Ruzanna Injyan scored the equalizer.

A few days earlier, on August 11, in the first friendly between these teams, Georgia U19 had secured a confident 5–1 victory.
