European Junior Judo Championships 2025 Concluded: Tournament Results

On September 6, in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, the European Junior Judo Championships 2025 for athletes up to and including 20 years old came to an end.
In the medal standings, Italy took first place, winning 4 golds, 2 silvers, and 3 bronzes. In total, judokas from 8 different countries claimed gold medals.

Five judokas represented Armenia at the championship. The best result came from Gor Karapetyan (100 kg), who reached the semifinals, where he lost to an Estonian competitor, and then in the bronze medal match was defeated by a Georgian, finishing in 5th place. Gor Safaryan (60 kg), Vahe Aghasyan (60 kg), Lyova Srapyan (66 kg), and Jirair Hambaryan (66 kg) each secured one victory in the tournament.
