2026 Grand Slam in Tbilisi Concludes: Full Results

On March 22, the 2026 Judo Grand Slam in Tbilisi came to an end. On the third day of competition, winners and medalists were determined in three men's weight categories (90, 100, and +100 kg) and two women's categories (78 and +78 kg).

On the final day, Georgian athletes won two gold medals, while Russia, Israel, and France each secured one gold.

Israel topped the overall medal standings with three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. Russia finished second with two gold, two silver, and three bronze medals.

France, Georgia, and Turkey also won two gold medals each. Italy, Kazakhstan, and Japan claimed one gold each.

Four athletes represented Armenia in Tbilisi: Vahe Aghasyan (60 kg), Artak Torosyan (73 kg), and Gor Karapetyan (100 kg) lost in their opening bouts, while Martin Badalyan (60 kg) won one match and finished in the round of 16.

The next Grand Slam event will take place in Dushanbe from May 1 to 3, preceded by the 2026 European Championships from April 16 to 19 in Tbilisi.
