World Judo U17 Championship Concluded: Full Results of the Tournament

On August 30 in Sofia (Bulgaria), the 2025 U17 World Judo Championship came to an end. On the final, fourth day of competition, the finals were held in four weight categories: 90 kg and +90 kg for boys, and 70 kg and +70 kg for girls.

On the last day, world champions were crowned from Russia, Georgia, Brazil, and Uzbekistan.

In the overall team standings, Uzbekistan won first place with 5 gold and 2 bronze medals.

The Armenian national team was represented by 8 judokas but did not secure any medals: Narek Davtyan (50 kg), Shavarsh Naapetyan (55 kg), Vaհe Hovhannisyan (55 kg), Khachatur Jangiryan (60 kg), Tigran Sarukhanyan (73 kg), Gor Galstyan (73 kg), Zhora Gevorgyan (81 kg), and Sergey Zakaryan (90 kg).
