Armenian freestyle wrestler Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg weight category) continues to impress in the Pro Wrestling League (PWL) India. In a dramatic bout against two-time World Championship medalist Tumur Tulga Ochir from Mongolia, Tevanyan pulled off a strong comeback to win 10–4.
With just 10 seconds left in the match, the Armenian was trailing 1–4, but in the final moments, he executed a series of effective moves and snatched the victory. This success proved crucial for his team Maharashtra Kesari, which ultimately defeated Haryana Thunders 5–4.
Earlier in the tournament, Tevanyan had confidently beaten Azerbaijani wrestler Ali Rahimzade and Indian wrestler Vishal Kaliraman.
Thus, the Armenian athlete continues to show a high level of performance and remains one of the leaders of his team in PWL India.
