Vahe Gevorgyan Named Armenia’s Coach of the Year

The Football Federation of Armenia has announced the results of its annual vote for the country’s Coach of the Year. According to the results, the winner is Alashkert head coach Vahe Gevorgyan.
The specialist received 13 votes, confidently outperforming his competitors. In the current season, under his leadership, the Yerevan-based club has been showing consistent results and is currently in 4th place in the national championship standings.
It is worth noting that over the past year Gevorgyan also coached Van. The Charentsavan-based team finished 5th in the 2024/25 Fastex Premier League season, which was a solid achievement for the club.
Second place in the voting went to Armenia national team head coach Yeghishe Melikyan, who received 9 votes. Third place was taken by former Ararat-Armenia head coach Vardan Minasyan, who received 3 votes.
Vahe Gevorgyan’s recognition as Coach of the Year reflects his successful work and significant contribution to the development of Armenian football.
