In the coming years, the Armenian national team may receive a significant boost in the form of another promising player. The discussion revolves around 17-year-old attacking midfielder Emmanuel Ditu Buensi, a product of the Urartu academy.
Emmanuel Ditu Buensi was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but at the age of 10 he arrived in Armenia with his family as a refugee. Almost immediately after the move, he began training in the Urartu system, where he quickly stood out thanks to his physical attributes, speed, and work ethic.

In the current season, Emmanuel plays for Urartu-2 in the Armenian First League. Despite his young age, he has already played 7 of the possible 15 matches and is gradually becoming an important part of the team.
Buensi’s appearance in the Armenian national team is not guaranteed yet, but he certainly has such an opportunity. He is a product of Armenian football and is eligible to play for the Armenian national team. Considering his age and potential, he may become one of the most exciting players whom Armenian football will rely on in the future.
It should be noted that the Armenian national team already includes another player of African origin — Nigerian Ugochukwu Iwu, who began his professional career in Armenia and, after five years in the local championship, obtained the right to represent the national team.
