The 2026 Armenian Boxing Championship for adults and youth will kick off in Yerevan

From February 9 to 14, the Dynamo Sports Complex in Yerevan will host the 2026 Armenian Boxing Championships for adults and youth. The tournament will be the first national competition of the year and will be held under the new weight categories approved by the international organization World Boxing.
On February 8, organizational events were scheduled at Dynamo. The official draw took place at 6:00 PM. The weigh-in procedure will be conducted daily from 8:00 to 9:00 AM at the same sports complex.
The competitive part of the championship will begin on February 9. On the opening day, boxers from the adult category will enter the ring. The bouts will start at 1:00 PM.
Men will compete in the new World Boxing weight categories: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, and over 90 kg.
Women’s weight categories are: 48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, and over 80 kg.
The Armenian Boxing Championships traditionally play a key role in selecting national teams and bring together the country’s strongest athletes among both adults and youth.
