The coaching staff of the Armenia national futsal team has finalized the squad for Euro 2026. Based on statistical data from the current season, it is possible to highlight the team’s age profile as well as the most productive players among legionnaires and those competing in the domestic championship.
Age profile of the national team
The average age of the futsal players called up to the national team is 28.67 years, indicating a balance between experience and youth.
The youngest player in the squad is Arsen Petrosov, forward of Nizhny Novgorod’s Torpedo (19 years, 7 months and 14 days).
The oldest player is the long-time captain of the Armenia national team and current captain of Sievna, Garegin Mashumyan (36 years, 3 months and 18 days).
Leaders among legionnaires
Among players performing for foreign clubs, Denis Nevedrov stands out in particular, showing impressive productivity this season.
-
Top scorer of the season (overall) — Denis Nevedrov (21 goals)
-
Best goals-per-game average — Arsen Petrosov (0.83 goals per match)
-
Best assist provider of the season — Denis Nevedrov (13 assists, 0.42 assists per match)
Leaders of the Armenian championship
In the domestic league, the main breakthrough of the season has been 19-year-old Agasi Yeghiazaryan. The young futsal player is the top performer of the Armenian championship both in goals and assists.
His statistics include:
-
19 goals
-
21 assists
In addition, Yeghiazaryan recorded an assist for Hamlet Manukyan in Armenia’s recent friendly match against Lebanon.
High statistical numbers among players of the Armenian championship should not be surprising — the presence of 3–4 clearly weaker teams allows league leaders to regularly accumulate a large number of goals and assists.
It should be recalled that the Armenia national futsal team will compete in Group B at Euro 2026, alongside Ukraine, Lithuania and the Czech Republic.
