Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan netted his milestone 10th goal for the Armenian national team. With this achievement, the midfielder surpassed Tigran Barseghyan in the list of Armenia’s all-time top scorers.
Spertsyan now has 10 goals. Ahead of him are only Artur Petrosyan and Marcos Pizzelli (11 each), Gevorg Ghazaryan and Yura Movsisyan (14 each), as well as record-holder Henrikh Mkhitaryan (32).
Spertsyan scored from the penalty spot shortly before halftime. After the first half, Armenia leads Ireland 1–0 in Yerevan in the 2025 World Cup qualifier.
