Spertsyan Shows of Rough Foul in Match Against Zenit
Krasnodar FC captain and midfielder Eduard Spertsyan published a photo on his Telegram channel showing the condition of his leg after a harsh foul during the Russian Premier League Round 24 match against Zenit.
The match, held in Saint Petersburg, ended in a 1–1 draw. The key moment occurred in the second half when Zenit forward Pedro committed a rough foul against Spertsyan. After reviewing the video replay, the referee decided to send the player off, showing him a straight red card.
Earlier, the Armenian footballer told Match TV in an interview that he would later show the consequences of the incident. The published image clearly shows abrasions and bruises on the midfielder’s leg.
Despite the intense match, Krasnodar managed to maintain its lead at the top of the standings. After 24 rounds, the team has collected 53 points and remains in first place, one point ahead of second-placed Zenit.
