Krasnodar midfielder and captain Eduard Spertsyan became the hero of the Round 21 Russian Premier League match against Sochi, scoring a brace and securing a 2–1 victory for his team.
Spertsyan continues to show outstanding productivity in the Russian championship. This season he has already recorded 24 goal contributions — 11 goals and 13 assists in 20 matches. He also became the first player in the league to reach 10+ goals and 10+ assists in two seasons.
Krasnodar opened the scoring in the 5th minute, with captain Eduard Spertsyan finding the net.
Sochi managed to equalize only in the 88th minute, thanks to a goal from Mikhail Ignatov, which was his third goal of the season.
However, in stoppage time (90+5) Spertsyan converted a penalty to give Krasnodar the winning goal.
After the match, the midfielder was named Man of the Match according to the MATCH PREMIER expert.

This victory became Krasnodar’s second win over Sochi this season. In the first round, the defending Russian champions won convincingly 5–1.
