Futsal player Alex Felipe has passed away suddenly

Tragic news has come from the camp of MFC Norilsk Nickel. The club’s player Alex Felipe has passed away suddenly. He was a teammate of Vladimir Sanosyan, the captain of the Armenia national futsal team.

According to the press service of MFC Norilsk Nickel, the tragedy occurred at Ukhta Airport after a Russian Cup semifinal match. Shortly before departure, Alex Felipe lost consciousness. The team doctor, an airport paramedic, and emergency medical personnel who arrived at the scene did everything possible, but were unable to save the player’s life.

All club employees, players, and staff are deeply shocked and devastated by what happened. The passing of Alex Felipe is an irreparable loss for the team and the entire futsal community.
