The women’s skiathlon (10+10 km) has concluded at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina.
The race was won by 26-year-old Swedish skier Frida Karlsson with a time of 53:45.2. The silver medal went to her compatriot and reigning world champion Ebba Andersson, who finished in 54:36.2. Bronze was claimed by Norway’s Heidi Weng, who crossed the finish line with the same time as Andersson.
This was the second medal event of the 2026 Olympics following the men’s downhill competition.
From the very start, Karlsson and Andersson set a high pace and pulled away from the rest of the field, confidently controlling the race until the finish.
Armenian representative Katya Galstyan finished 69th out of 70 participants, ahead of only Ukraine’s Yelyzaveta Nopriienko.
