Armenian National Team Concludes Performances at the 2026 European Youth Shooting Championship in Bulgaria

The Armenian shooting team concluded their performances at the 2026 European Youth Shooting Championship, held in Burgas, Bulgaria. Armenian shooters brought home three medals and secured 10th place in the medal standings.
The gold medal was won by David Khachatryan in the under-16 category, showcasing an outstanding result in the 10-meter pneumatic rifle event, setting a new European record. The silver medal went to Aik Sargsyan (U18) in the 10-meter pneumatic pistol shooting event. The Armenian team also secured a bronze in the team event (U18) in the pneumatic pistol discipline, with Aik Sargsyan, Armen Gevorgyan, and Artak Amiryan representing the team.
In the final medal standings, Russia claimed the top spot with 25 medals (11 gold, 7 silver, and 7 bronze).

Today, the European Youth Shooting Championship for athletes under 21 began in Burgas, and the senior European Championship will take place in Yerevan from February 27 to March 5.
