The Armenian side lost 0–3 to the Croatia national futsal team in the 1/4 final, bringing an end to a bright and historic tournament run.
Croatia set the tempo early, scoring at the start of the match. A brace from Mataja (2:42, 15:48) and a goal by Vukmir (6:04) gave the opponents a comfortable lead. Despite pressure and chances created by Armenia, they were unable to turn the game around.
Special mention goes to Croatian goalkeeper Ante Piplica, whose outstanding performance made him a key figure and prevented Armenia from getting back into the game.
Streak ended
This defeat was Armenia’s first in official matches in a long time, ending a 9-game unbeaten run. The team had not lost since November 2023, when they were defeated by the Portugal national futsal team (1–7).

Despite the exit, Armenia had a superb tournament:
-
2 wins (vs Ukraine and Czech Republic)
