Rodrigo Ramos becomes Ararat-Armenia’s new forward

FC Ararat-Armenia has announced the signing of 21-year-old Portuguese forward Rodrigo Ramos. According to the Yerevan club’s press service, the contract with the player runs until the summer of 2028.

A graduate of Benfica’s academy in Lisbon, Ramos has played for the youth and U21 teams of Belenenses and B-SAD, as well as for Estoril and Tondela. Last season, the winger competed in Portugal’s second division, making 28 appearances for Tondela, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists.

According to a transfer portal, Ramos’s market value is €550,000, making him Ararat-Armenia’s most expensive signing of the current season. Before joining the Armenian club, Rodrigo mostly played in Portugal’s youth and reserve leagues.
