2026 Winter Olympic Games Results – February 6

The opening ceremony of the 25th Winter Olympic Games took place in Milan on February 6, 2026. However, even before the official start of the Olympics, competitions were held that day in three sports: figure skating, ice hockey, and curling.
In figure skating, the team event began; in curling, matches among mixed doubles teams continued; and in ice hockey, women’s national teams played their games.

Curling (Mixed Doubles)

Figure Skating (Team Event)
Three segments were contested on this day: rhythm dance in ice dance, short program in pairs, and women’s short program.
After three segments, Team USA is leading the standings. On February 7, the short program and free dance in ice dance will take place. The team event will conclude on February 8 after the free programs in pairs, as well as in women’s and men’s singles.
