On February 7, a major MMA event, PFL Dubai: Nurmagomedov vs. Davis, took place in Dubai. In the main event of the evening, undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov (21–0) defended his PFL lightweight championship title against England’s Alfie Davis (20–6–1).

Nurmagomedov delivered a composed and calculated performance in his trademark style, securing a submission victory in the third round after winning the first two rounds. As a result, Usman successfully retained the PFL lightweight championship belt.

In the co-main event, Ramazan Kuramagomedov (14–0) fought Shamil Musaev (20–1–1) for the PFL welterweight title. Despite suffering a hand injury, Kuramagomedov confidently went the distance and won by unanimous decision (48–46, 48–46, 48–46), becoming the new PFL welterweight champion. After the fight, he announced a possible retirement.

“I was a Bellator champion, and today I became a PFL champion. Maybe that’s enough. I think this was my last fight. I had been thinking about this decision even before the bout. If I won the belt, that would be the end. I’m 29, almost 30 — I believe that’s enough,” Kuramagomedov said.

In addition to the title bouts, the event featured a number of exciting fights with athletes from Russia, the USA, France, England, Brazil, and other countries.
