The preliminary roster of the Armenian national team for the 2026 European Wrestling Championships has been announced. The tournament will take place from April 20 to 26 in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
The Armenian team includes 18 athletes. Wrestlers are represented in all weight categories except 86 kg and 97 kg in freestyle wrestling.
It is also worth noting that Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg, Greco-Roman) and Arman Andreasyan (70 kg, freestyle) will miss the tournament due to injuries. U23 World Champion Hayk Khloyan has been included instead of Aleksanyan, while David Margaryan replaces Andreasyan after winning bronze at the recent U23 European Championships.
