From October 20 to 27, the U23 World Wrestling Championships will take place in Novi Sad, Serbia. The preliminary rosters of the Armenian national team have been announced, with athletes competing in both Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling.

The Armenian team is traditionally considered one of the strongest participants in youth world championships and aims for successful performances and medals at the upcoming tournament. Earlier this year, Armenian wrestlers won gold medals at the U17, U20, and senior world championships: Gaspar Terteryan — U20 Greco-Roman World Champion, Janes Nazaryan — U17 Greco-Roman World Champion, and Malkhas Amoyan — Senior Greco-Roman World Champion.
