Armenia’s quarterfinal opponent confirmed at Futsal EURO 2026

The Armenian national team will face Croatia in the quarterfinals of the 2026 UEFA Futsal European Championship. The match will take place on January 31.
Croatia secured qualification from Group A in the final round, confidently defeating Latvia 4–1. The outcome was decided in the second half, when Croatia converted their game advantage and capitalized on key chances. For Latvia, who had made a bright debut at the tournament, the final whistle marked the end of their campaign.
In the other group match, France beat Georgia 3–1 to finish first. The game remained tense until the closing stages, but the French side looked stronger and eventually broke their opponent’s resistance. Crucial goals came at the ends of both halves, and a late strike by Abdessamad Mohammed sealed the result. France advanced to the playoffs from first place, while Georgia exit the tournament having left a positive impression with their dedication.

In the group stage, Croatia defeated Latvia and drew with both France and Georgia.
