All Playoff Matchups Set for FIBA U20 European Championship Division B

The group stage of the FIBA U20 European basketball Championship Division B has concluded in Yerevan. Eight of the best teams will continue their battle for promotion to Division A in the playoffs starting on July 18.

The host nation, Armenia, finished 4th in Group B and will play in the 9th–12th place bracket.

Quarterfinal pairings:
Croatia – Ireland
Turkey – Netherlands
Latvia – Great Britain
Switzerland – Kosovo

In addition to the quarterfinals, matches for 9th–16th place will also begin on July 18. Each team will play at least three more games to determine the final standings.

9th–12th place games:
Portugal – Armenia
Hungary – Denmark
Montenegro – Bulgaria
Austria – Sweden

17th–21st place games:
One confirmed pairing:
Slovakia – Estonia

The following teams will also participate in this stage through a mini-tournament:
Georgia
Albania
North Macedonia

The playoff games will take place from July 18 to 20. The tournament winner and possibly several other teams will earn promotion to Division A.
