OFFICIAL: Momo Yansane joins Pyunik

Yerevan-based Pyunik have announced the signing of Guinean striker Momo Yansane. The 28-year-old forward has become another addition to the squad during the winter transfer window.

Yansane began his professional career in his homeland with Hafia, before moving to Moroccan side FUS Rabat. In 2019, the striker joined Belarusian club Isloch, where he made a strong impression: he scored 23 goals and provided 11 assists in 57 matches. At the end of the 2019 season, Yansane was named the club’s best player.

In the summer of 2021, the Guinean signed a contract with Sheriff Tiraspol. With the Moldovan giants, he played in the group stage of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League and scored against Shakhtar Donetsk. That same season, Yansane won the Moldovan league title and the national cup.

During his career, the forward has also played for Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), Rijeka (Croatia), Torpedo Kutaisi (Georgia), and Sumgayit (Azerbaijan).

Yansane’s previous club was Cypriot side Omonia Aradippou, where he had been playing since August 2025. This season, he made 14 appearances and scored 3 goals.

At international level, Yansane represented Guinea’s U20 and U23 teams, and in 2021 he made his debut for the senior national team.

According to specialized portals, the player’s transfer value is estimated at around €250,000. Yansane has become Pyunik’s fourth signing this winter. Earlier, the club added James Santos, Robert Darbinyan, and Artak Dashyan, while Vyacheslav Afyan returned from BKMA, where he was serving military duty on a two-year loan.
