Official: Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool after the 2025/26 season

English club Liverpool has officially announced the upcoming departure of one of the greatest players in the club’s history — Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian forward will end his tenure with the Reds at the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, closing a nine-year era at Anfield.
Salah and the club reached an agreement for the forward to complete his current contract and leave the team next summer. The player himself insisted on announcing his decision as early as possible — out of respect for fans and for transparency regarding his future.
