Armenian champions Noah have officially announced the signing of 26-year-old DR Congo national team goalkeeper Timothy Fayulu.
Fayulu joins the Armenian club on a one-year loan deal from Swiss Super League side Sion.
This summer, the goalkeeper was naturalized and already made his debut for DR Congo’s national team, playing one match. At Sion, Fayulu was the first-choice goalkeeper, making over 100 appearances.
With this transfer, Noah has reinforced its goalkeeping line ahead of the UEFA Conference League main stage. The team already features Armenia national team goalkeeper Ognen Čančarević, young Russian Alexey Ploshadny, and Armenian youth national team candidate Artur Koneglian — a Brazilian Gremio academy product with Armenian roots.
According to Transfermarkt, Fayulu has become the most valuable player in the Armenian Premier League, with a market value of €1.4 million. In second place is also a Noah player — Japanese midfielder Takuto Oshima (€1.2 million).
