Yerevan’s “Noah” claimed a hard-fought comeback victory over Warsaw’s “Legia” (2:1) in the 5th round of the UEFA Conference League group stage.
The Polish club opened the scoring as early as the 3rd minute, but the champions of Armenia managed to regroup and achieve a crucial result. Mateusz Ajjasz equalized in the 57th minute, and Nardin Mulahusejnović scored the winning goal in the 84th minute.
Standings
After five rounds, Noah sits 17th in the overall Conference League table with 8 points. This is already enough to secure a place in the top 24 — meaning the team is guaranteed to play in the playoff stage. This is a historic achievement for Armenian football.

Tournament intrigue before the final match
Noah’s next opponent will be Dynamo Kyiv, but the Ukrainian club has already lost all chances of reaching the playoffs. Thus, the match will have tournament significance only for the Armenian side.
A victory would give Noah the chance to climb higher and receive a more favorable opponent in the Round of 32. Moreover, with a large win and favorable circumstances, Noah could qualify directly for the Round of 16 by entering the top 8 of the overall standings. Last season, a team with 11 points made the top eight — Noah would have the same number if they win.
Next match
The match between Noah and Dynamo Kyiv will take place on December 18 at a neutral venue.
Even now, with roughly 99.9% certainty, it can be said that Armenia will be represented in the spring stage of European competitions for the first time.
