In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, Serbia’s Crvena Zvezda claimed a 3–1 away win over Poland’s Lech. Former AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunić scored twice, while Bruno Duarte added another. For the home side, Assyrian striker Mikael Ishak netted the only goal.
Armenian full-back Nair Tiknizyan played the full match and was involved in two of his team's goals. Both attacking moments developed on his flank: first, he cleverly let the ball go to Mirko Ivanić, which led to a goal; in the second case, he pressed high near the opponent’s box, intercepted the ball, and launched a scoring attack.
