Armenia U21 lost to Sweden in the EURO 2027 (U21) qualifiers

The Armenia U21 national team suffered a narrow defeat against Sweden in the 6th round of the 2027 European Championship (U21) qualification. The match took place on November 18 in Yerevan and ended 0–1.
The only goal was scored in the 23rd minute by Momodou Sonko.
Armen Gyulbudaghyants’ team made 8 shots on target, while the Swedish side responded with 17 attempts.
Armenia U21 will play its next match on March 27, 2026, away against Poland.
After 6 rounds, the Armenian team remains without points and sits at the bottom of Group E. Sweden has earned 9 points and is in fourth place. Poland leads the group with 15 points, followed by Italy with 12.
