Millions at Stake: How Much More Can Noah Earn in the Conference League?

Armenian club Noah continues its campaign in the UEFA Conference League and has already secured substantial income by national football standards. Although the prize fund of Europe’s third-tier competition is significantly lower than that of the Champions League and Europa League, for clubs from the Armenian championship these sums are extremely significant.
Total Prize Fund of the Conference League
This season, the total prize fund of the Conference League stands at approximately €285 million. For comparison, nearly €2.5 billion is distributed in the Champions League. Nevertheless, even in this competition the winner can earn tens of millions when all bonuses are included. For example, the reigning title holder, Chelsea, received €18.7 million in prize money from UEFA last season.
How Much Has Noah Already Earned?
At this stage, Noah has earned €5,520,120 in the current European campaign. This amount includes participation payments, bonuses for results at different stages, and other UEFA-distributed rewards.
Participation in the league phase guarantees a fixed payment, while additional sums are awarded for wins, draws, and qualification to knockout rounds.
Playoff Bonuses
Further payments are distributed as follows:
| Stage | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Knockout Playoff Round | €200,000 (already achieved) |
| Round of 16 | €800,000 |
| Quarterfinal | €1,300,000 |
| Semifinal | €2,500,000 |
| Final | €4,000,000 |
| Tournament Winner | €3,000,000 |
If Noah advances, for example, to the quarterfinals, the club will significantly increase its revenue. Reaching the semifinals or beyond would represent a historic achievement both sporting and financially.
Additional Payments
Beyond fixed stage bonuses, clubs receive funds through the so-called Value Pillar system, which takes into account TV markets, coefficients, and other commercial indicators. For Armenian clubs, this component is usually lower than for representatives of top leagues, but it still adds to the total revenue.
How Noah’s Success Impacts Armenia’s UEFA Ranking
This European campaign has already become one of the most profitable in Noah’s history. However, its significance goes far beyond the club’s treasury.
Every point earned by Noah directly affects Armenia’s position in the UEFA country coefficient rankings.
Armenia currently occupies 34th place. The gap to direct competitors is minimal. In fact, even a single draw could be enough to overtake Moldova and move into the top 33.
Why Is 33rd Place So Important?
Breaking into the top 33 provides a strategic advantage:
One Armenian club (typically the Armenian Cup winner) would start the European season in the Europa League qualification rather than the Conference League.
This means:
• Higher-level competition
• Increased prize money
• More coefficient points
• A significant image boost for Armenian football overall
Competitors Remain in the Race
The battle is tight. Other countries still have clubs competing:
-
Finland — KuPS will face Lech Poznań
-
Kosovo — Drita will meet Celje
Strong performances from these teams could reshape the standings.

Financial Dynamics: Armenia’s Revenue Growth
The current season is already delivering record figures for Armenian football.
European Season 2025/26
Total: €7,445,120
Noah: €5,520,120
European Season 2024/25
Total: €7,915,023
Noah: €4,605,023
European Season 2023/24
Total: €2,760,000
Revenue growth over recent years is evident. If Noah progresses further, the 2025/26 season could become not only historically successful in sporting terms, but also one of the most financially successful campaigns in Armenian football history.
Today, February 19, Yerevan’s Noah face Dutch side AZ in the UEFA Conference League Round of 32. This is the first-ever European knockout-stage match in the history of Armenian club football — a truly historic occasion for the country.
