The international tournament “Eurasian League — Yerevan Mayor’s Cup” has concluded in the capital of Armenia, bringing together top clubs from five countries. Over several days, fans witnessed intense matches, spectacular combinations, and uncompromising battles for the main trophy.
The winner of the competition was the Lebanese club “Hoops.” In the final, the team delivered a confident performance and defeated Georgia’s “Orbi” 91:82. The Lebanese side controlled the game for most of the match and managed to maintain its advantage in the decisive minutes, deservedly claiming first place.
The third-place game was no less exciting, as two Armenian teams — “Urartu” and “Erebuni” — faced off. In a hard-fought contest, “Urartu” proved stronger, winning by the same score of 91:82 and becoming the bronze medalist of the tournament.
This year, seven teams took part in the Eurasian League international tournament: Armenia’s “Urartu,” “Hatis,” and “Erebuni,” Georgia’s “Orbi,” Lebanon’s “Hoops,” the American “Pilot,” and Kazakhstan’s “Barsy.”
