Here is the full roundup of an electrifying European night.
Copenhagen 3–2 Kairat: Hosts Almost Throw It Away

Copenhagen finally claimed their first victory of the campaign — and did it the dramatic way. By the 70th minute they were cruising at 3–0, with Robert delivering a brilliant individual display.
UEFA TO Group on Robert:
“He was exceptional one-on-one, added an assist, scored an important goal and constantly created chances. A true leader.”
But Kairat refused to fold. Satpaev and Baibek sparked a late comeback that turned the final minutes into pure tension, though the Danes ultimately held on for a long-awaited win.
Paphos 2–2 Monaco: Cypriots Show True Character
Goals:
-
Paphos: David Luiz, Salisu (own goal)
-
Monaco: Minamino, Balogun
Man of the Match: Mohammed Salisu (Monaco)
Two attack-minded sides delivered a lively, high-tempo contest in Limassol. Paphos equalised twice, refusing to let Monaco steal all three points.
UEFA TO Group on Salisu:
“Strong one-on-one and excellent inside the box.”
A draw that feels absolutely fair based on the 90 minutes.
PSG 5–3 Tottenham: Vitinha Hat-Trick and Eight-Goal Thriller
Goals:
-
PSG: Vitinha (3), Fabián Ruiz, Pacho
-
Tottenham: Richarlison, Kolo Muani (2)
Man of the Match: Vitinha
One of the marquee games of the evening delivered fireworks: eight goals, two PSG comebacks and the greatest performance of Vitinha’s career.
UEFA on the Portuguese midfielder:
“He was at the heart of every PSG attack. A hat-trick was the perfect reward.”
Fun fact: This was Vitinha’s first career hat-trick — he didn’t manage one even against Armenia, but he demolished Spurs in Paris.
PSG looked devastating going forward. On loan from PSG, Randal Kolo Muani shone against his parent club with two goals and an assist.
Liverpool 1–4 PSV: Crisis Turns Into a Nightmare
Goals:
-
Liverpool: Szoboszlai
-
PSV: Perišić (pen.), Til, Drieuèche (2)
Man of the Match: Khuayb Drieuèche
Anfield once again witnessed disappointment. After a balanced first half (1–1), PSV completely overran Arne Slot’s side after the break.
UEFA TO Group on Drieuèche:
“He came on at the perfect moment, brought energy, pressing, two goals and total dominance.”
Liverpool were beaten heavily — and deservedly. PSV celebrate a historic win on Merseyside, while the Reds sink further into crisis.
Atlético 2–1 Inter: Milan’s First Loss of the Season
Goals:
-
Atlético: Álvarez, Giménez
-
Inter: Zieliński
Man of the Match: José María Giménez
Diego Simeone’s Atlético squeezed every drop out of a tough, tactical battle. Inter arrived in superb form but suffered their first defeat of the 2025/26 Champions League.
On Giménez:
“He scored the winner and organised the defence flawlessly.”
A huge result for Atlético, who now face two difficult away fixtures.
Arsenal 3–1 Bayern: Londoners Look Like Europe’s Best Team
Goals:
-
Arsenal: Timber, Madueke, Martinelli
-
Bayern: Karl
Man of the Match: Declan Rice
The first half was even — but Arsenal became a machine after the interval. Substitutions changed the rhythm, the pressure became relentless and Bayern simply could not cope.
UEFA TO Group on Rice:
“A dominant second half. Leadership, power on set pieces — commanding.”
Key fact:
Bayern lost for the first time this season.
Arsenal now have five wins from five, with a 13–1 goal difference. Right now, they are Europe’s most impressive side.
Eintracht 0–3 Atalanta: A Five-Minute Italian Storm
Goals: Lookman, Ederson, De Ketelaere
Man of the Match: Charles De Ketelaere
Atalanta blew the match wide open with three goals between the 60th and 65th minutes — a devastating burst that stunned Frankfurt.
UEFA TO Group:
“De Ketelaere was the driving force in attack: goal, assist, creativity.”
Eintracht looked solid for much of the game but collapsed instantly. Atalanta produced one of their best halves of the season.
Sporting 3–0 Club Brugge: Lisbon Cruise to Confident Win
Goals: Jovane Cabral, Luis Suárez, Francisco Trincão
Man of the Match: Francisco Trincão
Trincão delivered a superb all-round performance — stretching the pitch, pressing tirelessly, working off the ball and scoring a fine goal.
Sporting controlled the match throughout, and Trincão’s strike ended any hopes of a Brugge resurgence in the second half.
Olympiacos 3–4 Real Madrid: Mbappé Scores Four
Goals:
-
Olympiacos: Chiquinho, Taremi, El Kaabi

UEFA TO Group:
“He was the absolute star: speed, power, four goals, constant danger.”
Real Madrid survived the chaos, although Olympiacos came dangerously close to a late shock.
