Lendrush Akopyan Defeats Amirhan Oev at Hype Armenia in Yerevan

At the HYPE Armenia tournament held in Yerevan, renowned fighter Lendrush Akopyan faced Amirhan “White Lion” Oev in a contender fight for the Hype Fighting league championship belt in the 80 kg weight category.

The match was tense and evenly matched, but the Armenian athlete managed to secure a victory by unanimous decision in front of his fans.

After the fight, Akopyan admitted that competing in Armenia had been his dream, and it finally came true.

The winner of this fight will get the chance to face Ibrahim “Nikarho” Islamov, who won against Timur “Lucky” Abdurakhmanov at the same tournament.

Earlier in the tournament, seven Armenian athletes had already claimed victories. The main event of the evening is upcoming — a grappling match between Arman Tsarukyan and Shaai Bullet.
