During the March international break in 2026, several foreign players competing in the Armenian league have received call-ups to their senior and youth national teams.
Special attention is on Noah goalkeeper Timothy Fayulu, who will help DR Congo in their bid to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The African side has reached the final of the intercontinental playoff, where they will face the winner of New Caledonia vs Jamaica. In the previous round, DR Congo defeated Nigeria in a penalty shootout, with Fayulu emerging as the hero after saving two shots.
Fayulu could become the first active player from the Armenian Premier League to play at a FIFA World Cup.
Also noteworthy is the call-up of a Sardarapat player, who competes in the Armenian First League, to the Ivory Coast U23 national team.
