On September 15, at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon, a spectacular football evening took place — the Legends Charity Game, featuring Portugal Legends against World Football Stars. The match had a charitable purpose: all proceeds were directed to support social projects.
From the very first minutes, the hosts seized the initiative. The score was opened by the famous striker Pauleta, soon doubled by Hélder Postiga. Under the applause of the crowd, Ballon d’Or winner Luís Figo also found the net, and Pepe sealed the victory for Portugal Legends. The only reply came from Englishman Michael Owen, setting the final score at 4–1.
Symbolically, the teams were coached by equally renowned figures: Portugal Legends by Costinha, and the World XI by legendary Brazilian Roberto Carlos.
Additionally, the legendary boxer Oleksandr Usyk appeared on the pitch for the World XI.
