Krasnodar secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Akhmat in the 23rd round of the Russian Premier League. The only goal was scored by Jhon Córdoba in the 86th minute.
Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan started the match despite an injury that had previously forced him to miss Armenia’s national team game against Belarus. However, the injury prevented him from completing the match, as the midfielder was substituted in the 60th minute to avoid aggravating the condition.
During his time on the pitch, Spertsyan made one key pass and received a 6.8 rating from SofaScore.
Following this win, Krasnodar leads the RPL standings, one point ahead of Zenit.
Edgar Sevikyan also featured today in the RPL for Akron, with the Armenian winger coming on in the 74th minute against CSKA (1–2). Meanwhile, Tigran Avanesyan and Pavel Gorelov remained on the bench for Orenburg in their match against Dynamo Moscow (3–3).
