Armenia U19 squad announced for tournament in Turkey

The Armenia U19 national team will hold a training camp starting on March 18 at the FFA Technical Center / Football Academy. The team, led by Razmik Grigoryan, begins preparations for the first qualifying round of the UEFA U-19 European Championship, which will take place in Turkey.

The training camp will serve as the final stage of preparation for the matches of the first qualifying round of the UEFA U-19 European Championship. Armenia will face Kosovo on March 24, Turkey on March 27, and Gibraltar on March 30. All matches will be played in Turkey.
It should be noted that in addition to players from Armenian academies, several footballers playing abroad have also been called up to the squad. Among them are midfielders from Russian clubs David Batoyan (Rostov) and Daniel Hambardzumov (Krasnodar), who have made a confident start to the season in the Russian Youth League. In the first two rounds, Hambardzumov scored three goals and provided two assists, while Batoyan registered one assist.
The squad also includes midfielder Martin Shahgeldyan, who plays in France. He has already been called up to various Armenian youth national teams on several occasions.
