Pafos FC made history by qualifying for the Champions League group stage for the first time ever. In the second leg against Crvena Zvezda, the Cypriots drew 1-1 and advanced with an aggregate score of 3-2.
The key moment came in the 89th minute when Brazilian forward Jajá, coming off the bench, scored the decisive goal, crushing the Serbian side’s hopes for a comeback. As a result, Crvena Zvezda will now continue its campaign in the Europa League.
