Inter secured a dramatic 3–2 victory over Juventus in the 25th round of Serie A.
The match was full of action. In the first half, Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso was involved in two decisive moments: he first scored an own goal and later made amends by finding the back of the net at the other end.
In the 42nd minute, Juventus were reduced to ten men as Pierre Kalulu received his second yellow card at 1–1, making the task significantly harder for the visitors.
After the break, Inter capitalized on their numerical advantage. Francesco Pio Esposito put the hosts ahead, but Juventus refused to give up. In the 83rd minute, Manuel Locatelli equalized, setting up a tense finale.
It seemed the match would end in a draw, but the final word belonged to the hosts. Piotr Zieliński struck powerfully to seal a 3–2 win for Inter.
Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan remained on the bench. He was set to come on in the 82nd minute to replace Marcus Thuram, but Juventus scored during the substitution process, prompting the coaching staff to change their decision — Bonny entered the pitch instead.
The victory strengthened Inter’s position in the Serie A standings and kept their title hopes alive.
