Inter knocked out of the Champions League: Bodø/Glimt, Newcastle and Bayer reach Round of 16

On February 24, the second-leg matches of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League Round of 32 took place. The biggest shock of the night was Inter Milan’s elimination after losing on aggregate to Norway’s Bodø/Glimt.
Inter — Bodø/Glimt — 1:2 (first leg — 1:3)
Inter failed to overturn the deficit at San Siro and lost 1:2, exiting the tournament 2:5 on aggregate.
For Bodø/Glimt, it is a historic achievement — the club has reached the Round of 16 for the first time ever.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan remained on the bench and did not feature.
In the Round of 16, Bodø/Glimt will face either Sporting or Manchester City.
Bayer — Olympiacos — 0:0 (first leg — 2:0)
Bayer 04 defended their away advantage and progressed to the Round of 16.
They will face either Bayern Munich or Arsenal next.
Newcastle — Qarabag — 3:2
Newcastle United defeated Qarabag and will play either Barcelona or Chelsea in the next round.
Atletico also through
Atletico Madrid defeated Club Brugge and secured a place in the Round of 16.
The draw will take place on February 27.
