Inter Milan continue to monitor the promising Santos forward Robinho Junior. According to sources, the Italian club is currently the most interested party in signing the 18-year-old Brazilian.

During the Christmas holidays, Robinho Junior visited Italy, where he toured Inter’s training facility and familiarised himself with the club’s infrastructure. Reports suggest that the Nerazzurri have already discussed a potential transfer internally and considered a bid of €18 million plus an additional €4 million in bonuses. However, it is emphasised that no official offer has yet been made to Santos.

Robinho Junior is the son of former Brazil national team and Real Madrid player Robinho. Like his father, he plays as a left winger and is regarded as one of the most talented players of his generation in Brazil.

So far, Robinho Junior has mainly impressed at youth level, but he has already made his debut for Santos’ first team. In the current Brazilian Serie A season, he has made 15 appearances and registered one assist.

Inter’s interest could become an important step in the young player’s career, although further developments will depend on Santos’ stance and the willingness of the parties to enter official negotiations.
