30-year-old high diver Nikita Fedotov is making his debut under the Armenian flag at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, held in Singapore. The high diving competition began with jumps from the 27-meter platform, and Nikita immediately impressed: his first dive was nearly flawless and earned 71.4 points — placing him third after the opening round.
However, in the second round, Fedotov made a mistake that cost him: he received only 57.6 points and dropped to 19th place out of 23 competitors. Still, the athlete has a chance to improve his ranking — two competition days and four dives remain until July 27.
Fedotov is an experienced athlete who previously represented Russia and now competes for Armenia as of 2025. His international experience and strong opening performance offer hope for a solid result in the upcoming rounds.
