Griezmann to continue his career in MLS: move to Orlando City already agreed

French forward Antoine Griezmann will become a player of Orlando City SC in August 2026. In the coming hours, the 35-year-old striker will travel to the United States to undergo a medical examination and sign a contract with his new club.

Until the end of the current season, Griezmann will remain at Atlético Madrid. He will finish the campaign before officially joining the MLS side in the summer.

This season, the Frenchman has recorded 14 goals and 4 assists. Despite his age, Griezmann remains an important player in Diego Simeone’s system, although his playing time has gradually decreased.

At Orlando City, the forward will reunite with Lionel Messi, with whom he previously played at Barcelona. The move is expected to be one of the most notable transfers of the MLS summer.
