Gor Manvelyan and Imran Oulad Omar: “Tomorrow is a big day for Armenian football”

Yerevan’s Noah are preparing for one of the most important matches of the season. In the first leg of the 2025/2026 UEFA Conference League transitional play-off, the Armenian champions will host Dutch side AZ Alkmaar at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.
Ahead of the match, Noah players Gor Manvelyan and Imran Oulad Omar shared their expectations.
Gor Manvelyan подчеркнул the historic significance of the upcoming clash:
“Tomorrow is a big day for Armenian football. We will step onto the pitch with pride and fight for our fans and for our country.”
The midfielder stressed that the team fully understands the level of their opponent but is determined to show their maximum potential at home.
For his part, Imran Oulad Omar emphasized the importance of fan support:
“When you play with your heart and thousands of supporters back you until the final minute, nothing is impossible.”
The player expressed confidence that the stadium atmosphere would serve as additional motivation for the team against a representative of the Dutch championship.
