Portuguese right-back Gonçalo Miguel Cardoso has become a player of FC Pyunik Yerevan. The 22-year-old footballer moved to the Armenian club from Russia’s Ural.
In the current Russian First League season, Cardoso has made 6 appearances. Previously, he played in Portugal’s Primeira Liga, where he completed a full season with Boavista, gaining consistent playing time at a high competitive level.
Cardoso is a product of Portuguese football and is capable of operating on the right flank of defense as well as contributing to his team’s attacking actions.
It is worth noting that this winter Pyunik’s squad was also reinforced by James Santos, Momo Yansane, Robert Darbinyan, Artak Dashyan, and the returning Vyacheslav Afyan.
