A landmark event for Armenian and world football: Henrikh Mkhitaryan presented his book “MY LIFE ALWAYS IN THE CENTER.” He was assisted in writing by the famous Italian sports journalist and writer Alessandro Alciato, author of biographies of many football legends — Carlo Ancelotti, Andrea Pirlo, Andriy Shevchenko, Fabio Cannavaro. Now the Armenian midfielder has joined this list.
Alessandro Alciato about the book:
“For me, this is more than a book. Helping Henrikh was a great honor. I met a very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable person who carries only good within himself. He opened up and told a deep story — his story. There is so much in it, not only about football. There is his father, whom he lost at the age of 7, Armenia, where he grew up without water and electricity, Mount Ararat as a symbol, his close bond with his grandmother, his respect for those who came before him. There are also coaches — from Arsène Wenger to José Mourinho, there is Yerevan, Ukraine, Dortmund, Manchester, London, Rome, Milan, and even Claudio Lotito. There are feelings, love, tears, and happiness. Henrikh is a special person whom I have come to love very much.”
Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s book will be released on October 7 in Italian under the title:
“La mia vita sempre al centro. Il viaggio di un ragazzo armeno tra determinazione e sacrificio”
(“My life always in the center. The journey of an Armenian boy through determination and sacrifice”).
The book contains 271 pages.
