Henri Avagyan Extends Contract with Pyunik Until 2029

Armenia national team goalkeeper Henri Avagyan has signed a new long-term contract with Yerevan-based Pyunik. The new agreement for the 30-year-old goalkeeper runs until 2029.

In the current season, Avagyan has become the first-choice goalkeeper of the Armenia national team and has already played 7 matches for the senior side, firmly establishing himself as the number one.

During the winter transfer window, clubs from Hungary, Slovakia, and Greece showed interest in the goalkeeper. Despite offers from abroad, Avagyan decided to stay at Pyunik and extend his contract with the club.

At the same time, the contract extension does not rule out a possible transfer in the future but significantly increases the player’s transfer value.
